President Elect Insanity Trump… “the millions of people who voted illegally,”

“In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally,”

twittly, twittly dum.

In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

It would have been much easier for me to win the so-called popular vote than the Electoral College in that I would only campaign in 3 or 4–

states instead of the 15 states that I visited. I would have won even more easily and convincingly (but smaller states are forgotten)!
3:41 PM – 27 Nov 2016

My God, is this really what kind of President the United States of America needs?

More proof of how mentally unstable he is. Donald Trump will never be right in the head and he certainly will never be a representative of what a president is or stands for. Leadership.

Again I look to the Electoral College and ask them to cast their votes on Dec. 19th for Hillary Clinton. She may not be a saint but at least she is SANE!’

Trump Claims, With No Evidence, That ‘Millions of People’ Voted Illegally

He won and is still crying and going twittering mad. This is a  not a President, this is a Crazy Person.

The USA doesn’t need these appointments either to take us back to the darkest hour in time of this country.

General Motors knew not to use this water from the get go so don’t tell me this Governor didn’t also know what was wrong. Too corrosive to use on engine parts because they would damage and disintegrate them, what in God’s name did anybody think they would do to human beings body parts?

Sunday Sermon ~ Mass with Pope Francis.

I cried about a third of this Mass at Madison Square Garden, his message, the music and choir so moving. At almost the end Cardinal Timothy Dolan’s words describing how much we love Pope Francis that lead to a thunderous applause and had me standing in my own living room tears flooding out of my eyes also applauding, the smile on the Pope’s face priceless. So much love out of this holy man of God.

The meeting with his Bishops upon arrival in the USA, the money the church takes in, if you don’t take care of the poor in need with it then Pay Taxes like a business!

Yet over the days I have read the venomous comments about this Pope from some evangelicals but yet he resides in a small apartment living humbly and Walking the Talk.

What what the Joel Osteen’s of the world do who live in multi-million dollar mansions, drive $100,00 vehicles and own private jets. Their message is Property, give to their mega-churches so they can live high and mighty. This is their saved.

You decide what the message of Jesus is.

Pope Francis is delivering it and may God Bless him in the name of Jesus. We love you and as you always ask at the end of every message will you please pray for me.

Yes We Will.

I only wish we can hold you over for another month to visit all of our major cities because those that got to see you have been truly Blessed. But I was at this Mass in New York, New York as much. I not only saw and heard you, I felt you.

Jesus is Love and you are love. His greatest messenger!

American Pharoah Goes Wire To Wire In Belmont To Capture Triple Crown.

Victor Espinoza Celebrates Triple Crown Win 2015

Victor Espinoza Celebrates Triple Crown Win 2015

When American Pharoah won the KY I did something I have never done before, not write a blog. The same with the Preakness even though when I thought he was caught but then just took off and never looked back, I said no I’m not going to write the same old. I hope, he’s got it so on and so forth. I wanted this horse to win the triple crown so bad I like every one else whose been a part of this love affair with horses through work like me or just the fans of the sport of thoroughbred horse racing…. I waited.

This magnificent horse who hadn’t lost a race since he broke his maiden was facing the biggest and grueling test of all. A mile and a half of The Belmont when no matter if you won the first two legs this last one is whether history gets made or not.

It had been 37 years. I was 21 years old when I watched Affirmed do it, his time for the race 2:26.80. Today American Pharoah did it in 2:26.65. Now whether in my lifetime I’ll ever see Secretariat’s record of 2:24.00 be broken, who knows. I’m just happy I got the chance to witness another triple crown win.

Does this horse know how happy he has made so many people and what he achieved today. I think God will convey it to him.

Secretariat’s owner Penny Chenery was at the race today, like all of us she was ready, hoping, praying another horse would be crowned. We all got what we wanted. These horses are in our blood and once in they never ever get out. Thank God.

I was also so happy for trainer Bob Baffert, this man genuinely has brought such talent to the sport. Ahmed Zayat came from money, spent a lot, lost a lot and for only being in the business 10 years I hope he knows how fortunate he is. There are some that have been in the racing game for 50 years and never won a statue of a KY Derby let alone all three legs.

As far as Victor Espinoza is concerned, I knew in 2011 when he donated 100% of a weeks winnings in S. California to help aid the health and welfare of the grooms I knew this man was pure class and had a heart of gold. His riding ability, the knack for knowing his horse and what he has underneath him, when to rate and exactly when to let go you just knew he would turn out to be the success he has become. The blessings has come full circle for him, what a ride it’s been from the chance last year with California Chrome to this one and I’m sure it will continue. What a lesson, never give up.

I do wish somebody would have thanked American Pharoah’s groom as they are the ones who spends the most time taking care of a horses every need from sun up to sun down. I know, I was a groom. Needless to say we know the contribution we make even if it’s not acknowledged. The exercise rider also needed a nod as well.

Today history was made, I felt like I wanted to drive down the street blowing my horn like when our city wins the Stanley Cup or World Series. That is what it felt like, screaming at the top of our lungs at a TV, open up, open up, open up, you got it, you got it.

LOL, my throat got sore. Yes it is that excitement and joy we all feel after waiting so long. Nothing in the world compares to it.

Ted Cruz’s Demented Ideology.

How Contradictory and Hypocritical Can You Get?

Ted Cruz Lunacy

Yes the right-wing nut job Republicans can honestly tell people that they are against abortion because they are so “Right To Life” but all in the same breath proclaim they want to end health insurance for millions who just obtained it.

So in reality those who had pre-existing conditions can go back to not being able to get insurance.

Outcome: They grow sicker until DEAD.

How anybody can justify this way of thought process and function I will never comprehend.

Ted Cruz shut the government down, rambled on for 21 hours until further derangement about green ham and eggs and was among 47 senators who proceeded to stop any progress of our president’s agenda attempting to stop Iran’s nuclear program by writing a letter to them stating No Deal.

Canadian born.

No to abortion – right to life.
No to health insurance – right to death.

Cut social security, put back big tax breaks for the richest.

Yes, vote for Hypocrite Insanity.

Right To Life my ass.

Charlie Hebdo Freedom of Speech Will Never Die.

Charlie Hebdo

Staff & Victims at Charlie Hebdo

Was there a war where weapons were aimed, drawn and firing?

Journalists, Illustrationists, Satirists using pencils, Cowards came with machine guns and bullets over cartoons. They illustrated a sad example of what in their mind is God, once again demonizing the very thing they worship and they wonder why some question their deranged beliefs. What in-fact was accomplished by this slaughter, that Islam needs to be eradicated from this earth. The very thing the cartoons that upset them made fun of. They themselves convinced it in stone.

This French satirical paper is not dead. It now speaks more loudly and clearly than ever before. Stephane Charbonnier (Charb) along with Cartoonists Georges Wolinski, Jean Cabut and Bernard ‘Tignous’ Verlhac, as well as economist Bernard Maris, two police officers and the rest who were barbarically massacred will live on forever here on Earth and in Heaven.

The terrorists defining what hell is that they come from.

A sad day for France and many families but the Freedom Of Speech will live on, make no mistake about that. The explosions of pencils will be even more alive, drawings of truth the terrorists try to kill.

The sane world stands as one shouting “Je Suis Charlie”.

Jockey T.D. Houghton Suffers Second Spill This Year At Mountaineer Park.

On Saturday nights card in the 5th race his mount Ashado Cat running stride for stride with the winner of the race stumbled and went down in the stretch with Terry once again taking a hard spill, the second within 7 months. He had only returned to Mountaineer within the last month.

On the March 1 opener he suffered a fractured collar-bone and three chipped vertebrates and underwent surgery. He wore a neck brace for 6 weeks, rested then went through extensive physical therapy.

In late July for the first time in his life in his native hometown of Hazel Park, Mi.  he stepped onto Hazel Park Raceway’s track to ease back into exercise riding in the mornings. Then on Friday Aug. 29th he rode his very first mount of the night aboard Unbridled Isabel to victory.

He would have 7 mounts out of the 8 thoroughbred races that night. In all TD Houghton would have two wins, two seconds and a third for his return with every single racing fan by the thousands, family members and a tribe of race-tracker workers friends cheering and yelling him a very welcome home. I being one of them.

The next night he would chalk up three more wins and the following weekends more of the same. In the middle of Sept. he returned to W. Virginia which had been his home base and continued to race great. Back to Michigan for sire race day on Sept. 27th, he captured even more wins.

The battle this man has fought over and over and over again to fight and come back from severe injuries only to conquer them and return a winning warrior, this latest injury has saddened and devastated all of us who know Terry and know what he’s gone through.

Upon hearing the news Sat. evening I literally broke down and cried.

At this point I can only tell you from an update I received from his good friend, former DRC trainer Bill Jenkins he has a hairline fracture of the neck not close to his last injury, slight fracture of nose and is suffering in a lot of pain on his left side but was alert and talking.

He was being transferred to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital for further tests and evaluation. I can only pray with all my heart that no severe internal injuries will be found.

Terry has a lot of prayers going up to the Lord right now from W. Virginia to here at home in Michigan.

Will pray non-stop for you my friend that God will quickly ease and heal your pain and injuries. Also praying for his family.

Will update any further details as they come in.

Oh Captain! My Captain! … as my tears flow. In Memory of Robin Williams.

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills,
For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding,
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
Here Captain! dear father!
This arm beneath your head!
It is some dream that on the deck,
You’ve fallen cold and dead.

My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still,
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will,
The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done,
From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;
Exult O shores, and ring O bells!
But I with mournful tread,
Walk the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

How profound now these words are.

I felt like a ton of bricks had fallen upon me when the news broke of Robin Williams death.

It doesn’t feel real, I don’t want it to be real. I thought the death of James Gandolfini last year had affected me, my God … Robin Williams has floored me.

I sat in front of the TV for hours and hours to see and hear everything I could, tonight things taped still not seen. I needed a break. I feel like an OD victim so overwhelmed and grief-stricken.

Where James Gandolfini was an exceptional actor and also a devout supporter of our troops, he only came into my world with the onset of The Soprano’s. But Robin, I was a Johnny Carson Tonight Show junkie. I don’t think I missed a show from 16 years-old on unless hospitalized when sick and probably not even then.

On July 25th my right eye went blurred and seeing double, I haven’t posted a thing since the 24th, MRI/MRA later and awaiting results I had to write something to pay homage to a man who brought so much joy, laughter, tears to everyone else’s life. I had to gather my thoughts but so hard to do because it still hasn’t sunk in that Robin is really gone now from this life. It just does not seem like reality, on the other hand beyond way too much reality, more like a nightmare we all want to just wake up from. Because Robin Williams was the life of everybody’s party.

His first appearance on the Tonight Show was hysterical and every appearance after. I had never seen anybody who could just do spot on improv and be that outrageous the way he could.

Robin Williams first appearance with Johnny Carson_The Tonight Show

When you could make Carson laugh until tears ran down his face you knew this man would be a star, but then I never imagined to what degree or magnitude that he would become.

His comedic genius was only the beginning, the acting was phenomenal whether comedy or drama. The passion of some of his characters would leave you speechless.

California Chrome Injured Out Of The Gate At Belmont And There Went History.

#3 Matterhorn stepped on California Chrome out of the gate.

California Chrome Belmont Start

California Chrome Belmont Injury

If you don’t think this hurt think again. This poor horse was running on three legs instead of four.

But all of us in the horse racing business know that anything can happen in a race. On this occasion though it is more than sad because this injury alone could have cost California Chrome history.

Imagine a chunk getting taken out your heel down to the bone. Could you run a mile and a half? or a few yards for that matter. You know these horses are made out of flesh and blood like us.

There’s no doubt in my mind that the pain this horse withstood throughout the race was horrendous. I now pray it doesn’t turn out to be a quarter crack which can get quite serious.

And say what you will about owner Steve Coburn, NBC’s antics were infuriating.

You don’t rush in just seconds after the conclusion of a race to get a comment of any owner who has just lost a race much less one that was one leg away from winning the triple crown, especially a new owner that just entered racing.

This was a dream story, a couple of non millionaires who took a shot. Yes they very well knew how the triple crown worked before hand nevertheless Coburn at the heat of that particular moment spoke strictly out of pure heartbreaking emotion and I can’t begrudge him for it.

Yes he had a point that fresh horses who hadn’t run in the first two legs didn’t to have to endure the same, but again this has always been the triple crown history that all of the past winners have had to go through and face the same.

Usually the network having these three races would focus on the winning connections not immediately go to the loser, even if they had won the first two legs. To me this was like almost antagonizing Chrome’s owner.

Equally disturbing was the furthering of the matter by Bob Costas who I thought had a lot more class, by asking the winning owner right after the trophy presentation reciting Coburn’s words of it being the cowards way out and what he thought of that?

What in the world was he expecting as a response and what purpose did it serve on the live broadcast.

NBC should be ashamed of themselves. To me totally unprofessional and classless stooping to this level.

The Belmont has always been the ultimate test, a grueling mile and a half of the horse and strategy of the jockey. To go right to the lead in this distance you had better have some gas left in the tank and have a couple of extra kicks.

Victor Espinoza once out of the gate after what occurred made the decision to rate him and with no visible hole opening up it forced him to go 4 wide. In reality after seeing the picture of Chrome’s hoof, I wonder what he would have done on all four.

In my mind he is the champion that is. Whether it was this injury or simply the added distance, California Chrome placing 4th showed he has the heart.

You cannot take the KY Derby away from him nor the Preakness and we will always wonder if this injury hadn’t happened could he have indeed won the Belmont and made history. Sadly we will never know but again that is horse racing.

Now there is only one word on my mind. The Travers.

Not that he has anything more to prove to anyone, but if Chrome has healed completely with no complications what so ever, I’d like to see him & Tonalist run this race. If for anything to ease Steve Coburn’s mind.

Again only if Chrome is 1,000% because no race is worth anything happening to this worthy noble champion.

I applaud California Chrome!

We Still Love You California Chrome

Co-Owner of California Chrome Steve Coburn Apologizes. ‘Ashamed’ of Angry Rant After Belmont Loss.

Steve Coburn, the co-owner of California Chrome today reined in his disappointment over losing the Belmont Stakes and the Triple Crown and said he was “very ashamed” and “was wrong” for his post-race rant.

“I need to apologize to the world and America,” Coburn said today on “Good Morning America.“ “I wanted it so much for this horse to win the Triple Crown for the people of America and I was very emotional, very emotional.”
“I sincerely apologize,” he said.

California Chrome …. Dreams Do Come True! 140th KY Derby Winner.

Victor Espinoza celebrates

So much for four white feet being bad luck!

California Chrome Ky Derby Winner

From out of a $8,000.00 MD bred mare named Love the Chase and a $2,500 stud fee from KY bred Lucky Pulpit came a diamond in the rough. Owners Perry Martin & Steve Coburn were called dumb ass’s for having got involved. Thus Dumb Ass’s Partners were formed and are now laughing all the way to the bank, and this retired groom couldn’t be more happier for them.

As far as that goes I’m elated that Art Sherman a 77 year-old trainer who started out in the stable area as a hot walker at 18 defeated all these well-known over-rated named trainers.

Steve Coburn gave credit to his partner stating Martin knew his bloodlines. That he did. Even though California Chrome’s momma & daddy didn’t score so big you have to look a lot further down, way way further down all the way back to War Admiral whose daddy was Man O’War. Then Northern Dancer and history of that blood line, and that was just momma’s side of the family. LOL

Mickey Rooney… An Era Of Legendary Hollywood Has Died.

Mickey Rooney_Mickey & Judy

Lord, what can you not say about this man and actor.

I have been watching him all my life, my mom all of her life. Generation after generation after generation.

Of course I’ll always have forever etched in my mind all those Andy Hardy movies he made with Judy Garland, but there’s one in particular I have never forgotten.

A Human Comedy.

I first watched this movie when I was about 6 years-old and remember crying at the scene in-which he reads a letter from his brother. At almost 57 I still remember Homer Macauley. To this day I still believe it was Rooney’s best performance ever at a young 22.

I can’t count all the movies he made in an era when an actor signed to a studio pumped out 7, 8 movies a year. All I know is with his passing you feel as if a part of your family has left.

All the words apply, Icon, Legend in reality with the acting, dancing & singing abilities Mickey Rooney was a Monument of Entertainment.

He has left this world with enough of it on film and television there would be always something on to watch. Something that a thousand cable channels can’t seem to provide. Just goes to show you what classics are all about and class acts. Mickey was on the top of the list.

93+ years of life God graced us with of this man and after God welcomed to Heaven I’m sure Judy was standing there waiting. What a grand reunion that must be taking place right now. There always smiling in one place and tears left behind, yet still these stars always remain with us forever.

There’s only one channel I need, Turner Classic Movies. It’s where they keep our happiest memories for us and put them on display.

Hollywood lost its biggest star, a Hollywood Golden Era very much missed.

Garden City Mi. Mayor Randy Walker Say’s It’s Only Fair That You Should Pay For Water You Do Not Use.

At the public meeting that took place on Oct. 21, 2013 at G.C. City Hall on The Special Lighting Assessment for the third year in a row, I among many brought up this new Water Rate Model.

You can read it here in the G.C. Sept. 22, 2013 Observer:

http://www.hometownlife.com/article/20130922/NEWS08/309220073/

Written by Sue Buck
Staff Writer.

Excerpts:

Council recently adopted a water rate model that will reduce costs for high water users while increasing it across the board for lower water users.

“With a recently approved new water rate model, Walker said that the city has decreased the cost for more than half of the high water users. The lower water users, especially seniors who are on fixed incomes and tend to watch their water usage to save money, will see an increase of less than $12″.

If the newspaper link disappears you can read it here as I copied and posted it in its entirety.

https://longshotsblues.wordpress.com/2013/02/13/garden-city-mi-special-lighting-assessment-is-illegal/

I asked two specific questions of Mayor Walker:

Question 1:

How fair is it to decrease the bills of the high water users and put it onto the people like me, a single person household or as the news article stated seniors or anybody that keeps a close eye on their water consumption.

Question 2:

If I were to leave my home for the winter and not a drop of water were to come out of my faucet or go down my drain (sewage) would my house still get a bill of less than $12.00.

He stated he would answer both questions during the round table portion. But when it got time for the answers he only addressed the first.

As Mayor Randy Walker sees it, the businesses of the city and large family households have paid more of their fair share money wise and explained he now wanted to even things out where everybody paid the same amount. He said people who in the past used less water paid less.

Well that makes perfect sense to me.

But NOW he wants the people who use lower water amounts to pay more to take the burden off the high water users. Mayor Walker stated that is the only fair thing to do.

Needless to say with the answer to the first question he never got around to answering my second question because in essence he already answered it.

Reality: If anybody leaves their home for the Winter, Spring or any season for that matter and your home is human-less as in nobody’s home to turn on the faucets, showers, flush toilets, etc… If no water, not a drop comes out of your faucet nor a drop goes down your drain your house WILL BE getting a bill regardless because?

Mayor Randy Walker say’s that is only fair that you pay your fair share. You won’t use any water if gone but you must pay for it anyway.

(Somebody get the net)

What in-fact you will be paying for is Other Peoples Water Usage and for what goes down their drains.

If your away for 6 months, your house gets a bill every two months anyway. That comes to less than $36.00 for not using a drop.

In Mayor Walker’s crazy mind this is the only and more fair way.

I say we need to Replace Mayor Randy Walker and the council members who consistently support these kinds of disturbing and mentally unstable ideas.

Motown Monday “The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game” ~ The Marvelettes

What a befitting song for this day.

The Detroit Tigers had game 2, up 5-1 with a red hot pitcher who performed the was manager Leyland had hoped for and all of us expected. 13 KOs and hitless until the 6th inning. Max Scherzer as usual was on fire.

I will never understand the philosophy of taking this kind of pitcher out of the game. In the old days nobody was counting the pitches thrown, if they were doing good they continued until they weren’t doing good.

Denny McClain, Mickey Lolich were never pulled from fantastic pitching performances, they finished the game.

Boston didn’t win, Detroit handed them the game and there is a very distinctive difference.

Justin Verlander 10 K’s 3 Hit Shutout, Detroit Tigers put away Oakland A’s for Second Straight Year and Third to ALCS!

I Am A Detroit Tiger Hear Me Roar!

Justin Verlander 2013 Shutout ALDS

With this Games 6 2/3 no hit innings Justin set a MLB Record. The most consecutive hit-less innings pitched in the playoffs against one opponent. During the 2012 and 2013 MLB playoffs, he threw 30 consecutive scoreless innings against the A’s.

The Final:

              R H E

Tigers  3 8 0
A’s        0 3 0

W: Verlander (1-0)
L: Gray (0-1)
SV: Benoit (2)

This man is magic, pure unprecedented magic. When most babbled on this year as Justin had fell into a slump compared to the on fire Max Scherzer, all I could think of is do all these people have complete very short memory loss. Our 2011 Cy Young/MVP Winner or who also shut this same team down in game 5 in 2012.

Trayvon Martin vs. Detroit.

I originally wrote this blog on Aug. 29, 2011 entitled,

A Solemn Motown Monday ~ ” What’s Going On” ~ Marvin Gaye.

After hearing the bullshit protests about this Trayvon Martin verdict going on all over the country I felt the need to re-post it. It’s pretty much self-explanatory. It was about a violent 24 hour day in Detroit in-which 16 people were shot in separate incidences. I added two comments to it because just hours later two more people were shot, one just a toddler.

All 18 victims were black, every single one of the shooters and murderers were black. And not one single peep was heard from anyone anywhere. I’ll edit one sentence at the very end.

I wonder if seen by our President will he make a statement that one of them could have been him.
