Motown Monday ~ The Miracles ~ I’ll Try Something New

Written by Smokey Robinson.
Released off the third self titled album in 1962.

Smokey Robinson – lead vocals
Claudette Rogers Robinson – background vocals
Pete Moore – background vocals
Ronnie White – background vocals
Bobby Rogers – background vocals
Marv Tarplin – Guitarist
Music – The Funk Brothers and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

So many gems this man wrote how do you pick favorites?

But I always thought this was one of the prettiest songs that The Miracles did.

The words and the whole arrangement of the song. Perfection!

The early days of Motown. You can’t beat it.

Man….. When it was Music!
