This is one of the Hottest Oldies Rock~n~Roll songs to dance to.
When Dion was with The Belmonts ( 1957-1960 ) they were invited to go on Buddy Holly’s “The Winter Dance Party ” tour in 1959. Dion was also invited to join Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper (J.P. Richardson) on that ill fated flight that took all three stars. Dion felt the $36.00 dollar flight cost ( the same amount of money that his parents paid a month for his childhood apartment ) would of been selfish. So he opted out of the flight.

1961 ” The Wanderer ” was my favorite Dion song. A Classic Doo-Wop Dance Number.
