This World is falling apart. Lord I think I’m on my way.

From torrential rains in California across the globe to Australia resulting in mudslides, floods, to blizzards burying the east, tornadoes ripping through the Midwest and South, England coming to a halt also from snow and now ice paralyzing China.

To thousands of birds dropping out of the skies of Arkansas to their deaths and along with them fish? My Lord this is becoming a living nightmare stuck in a real life episode of the Twilight Zone.

I would have been frozen terrified to see and hear birds plunging to their deaths. I watched a movie a while back ( don’t remember the name ) where everybody seemed normal as it was raining frogs. Either I wasn’t paying much attention to the damn movie but I said to myself yeah right.

Frogs are splattering all over the place but nobody acted like this was an unusual phenomenon.

So this story of birds all falling from the skies, I don’t know. Some very strange occurrences are taking place. It’s becoming down out right spooky. It has you wondering what’s going to happen next?

Wild wicked weather everywhere on the whole planet and now raining living species.

I mean I never did acid once in my teens so I know i can’t be having some horrid flashback. Not unless pounds of weed for two years 71-73 count.

All I know every time I turn on the news or read it off the Net. Stranger and stranger stories are being told. God, anybody selling Reds these days? Time to go to bed for the next three months until Winter is completely over. I mean they are freezing off their asses in Florida as well. From one coast to the next. DISASTER.

Which brings the Martha and the Vandellas song No Where To Run, Nowhere To Hide to a new meaning.

Hell El Ninos and La Ninas how about El Nutsos and La La La La I need some medication!

Monsoon-like conditions overwhelmed southern California on Wednesday, creating flash floods that kept workers at home and businesses and streets knee deep in mud and water.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning Wednesday afternoon for much of Los Angeles County and for several parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties. The Mojave Desert also was included in that warning.

As many as 40 homes in the San Bernardino County community of Highland were damaged by mud and water after two small rivers in the foothill town overflowed, said Bill Peters, spokesman for the California Department of Forestry.

First Birds Fall, Now 100,000 Fish Dead in Arkansas

Thousands of dead fish have turned up in an Arkansas river just days after 3,000 birds mysteriously dropped dead from the sky, but authorities say the deaths are not related.

An estimated 100,000 dead drum fish are floating along a 20-mile stretch of the Arkansas River and washing up on the river’s banks near the town of Ozark in the northwestern part of the state.

The dead fish were discovered just after 3,000 red-wing blackbirds fell from the sky in the town of Beebe, more than 100 miles from the site of the dead fish. Officials, who tripled the early estimates of the number of dead birds, said the bird deaths may have been caused by lightning or by stress from fireworks and said they were unrelated to the fish kill.

Now BRAZIL?

A dead starling (l.) and red-winged blackbird lay along the side of the highway in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisana.

Now I don’t give a damn what the scientists come up with, this is beyond strange. Birds are now falling dead out of the skies in La. and Tons of fish die as far as Brazil.

I’m wondering how the extreme mentally ill are coping. I mean if I had been there or was there standing and dead birds starting falling from the sky. I’d either be running for the nearest emergency room of a hospital begging them to explain to me why I am seeing such things or I’d be running to the nearest church.

In fact that may not be a bad Idea anyway. Go back to church. Cry, scream or something.

Can one say HELP!

I can deal with strange extreme weather, I cannot deal with birds dying while in the air dropping dead then come crashing down. No way no how.

Something is terribly wrong here.

Millions of dead fish and birds found around the world

January 6, 2011 01:51AM

As hundreds of dead birds fall from the skies across the United States, about a hundred birds again fell off in Sweden shortly before midnight on Tuesday, just as millions of dead fish surfaced in a bay in Maryland, United States. Similar unexplained mass fish deaths occurred in Brazil and New Zealand.

The Baltimore Sun reports that an estimated 2 million fish were found dead in the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, mostly adult spot with some juvenile croakers in the mix, as well. In New Zealand, hundreds of dead snapper fish washed up on Coromandel Peninsula beaches, many found with their eyes missing, The New Zealand Herald reports. However Maryland Department of the Environment spokesperson Dawn Stoltzfus says “cold-water stress” is believed to be the culprit.

Residents in Falköping, southeast of Skövde, found 50 to 100 jackdaw birds on a street further echoing the unexplained incidents that commenced earlier in the week across the Atlantic in southern US. A Swedish county veterinarian, Robert ter Horst believes that the birds may have been literally scared to death by fireworks set off on Tuesday night.

“We have received information from local residents last night. Our main theory is that the birds were scared away because of the fireworks and landed on the road, but couldn’t fly away from the stress and were hit by a car,” he explained to a Swedish online news platform — The Local on Wednesday.

“We will continue to look at whether there are other theories, but then we have to do an autopsy on the birds. The birds just now are in a car on the way to a laboratory in Uppsala. We don’t know exactly what happened yet, but we will continue the investigation,” he added.

Mr Horst noted that he has also received some reports about pigeons, but the incident has happened too quickly to assume that it is related to the untimely demise of the jackdaws. The site where the birds were found has now been blocked for a veterinary inspection of the birds. Emergency services had cordoned off the area earlier on Wednesday. Across the Atlantic, an estimated 4,000 to 5,000 blackbirds crashed into homes, cars and each other in central Arkansas on New Year eve. Another 500 birds were killed and littered the highway in Louisiana. Diverse theories such as fireworks and power lines sparks have been propounded. It’s almost certainly a coincidence the events happened within days of each other, Louisiana’s state wildlife veterinarian Jim LaCour said on Tuesday.

“I haven’t found anything to link the two at this point.” Anders Wirdheim of the Swedish Ornithological Society (Sveriges ornitologiska förening, SOF) believes the nocturnal birds were likely frightened in the middle of the night, then flew around in the dark and collided with various objects. Bird deaths and fish kills at smaller numbers aren’t all that uncommon, though the size and proximity of some of the recent events have led people to allege their relation, though officials deny the frequency of these wildlife deaths as being anything other than coincidence. End

Coincidence???

In New Zealand, hundreds of dead snapper fish washed up on Coromandel Peninsula beaches, many found with their eyes missing.

Cold Water Stress???

In Louisiana now they’re saying the birds there ALL hit Power lines. What did the fish hit? And I’ver never heard this sort of thing happening simultaneously all over the entire world. I never heard of dead fish being found with there eyes missing.

Dead birds keeping scientists puzzled

By Chad Sewich –
Reports of hundreds of more dead birds have scientists puzzled.
This all started New Year’s Eve when 5,000 blackbirds were found dead in an Arkansas town.

Since then, cities in Louisiana, Texas, Kentucky and now Sweden have reported mass bird deaths.

Scientists believe there are a variety of reasons for the deaths, including birds flying into power lines, harsh weather and even fireworks, but say they may never know what killed the birds.

Scientists say mass deaths aren’t all that uncommon in the animal kingdom, especially when large groups of a species are crowded together.

Thousands of dead fish were also discovered in an Arkansas river and washed ashore in Brazil on Wednesday. End

Like some of the comments underneath story. Not one singed feather found on any bird. Good Point.

Believe me if you touch a power line you are going to BURN, and have the marks to show for it.

Then I just found this story so I’m not the only one questioning these scientists explanations of Power Lines, Loud Noises and water too cold.

Deaths of birds and fish en masse stir end-times theories

Bizarre reports of washed-up fish and downed birds have many people scratching their heads, and jumping to conclusions.

Reporting from Baltimore —

When the term “dead fish” became a top Google search Wednesday, soaring past the likes of Lindsay Lohan and leaving Justin Bieber in its scaly wake, it looked as if the end were near.

That’s what everyone was saying, anyway.

After millions of tiny fish went belly up in Chesapeake Bay this week, much of the populace immediately dismissed the official scientific explanation (the water was just too darn cold). What made more sense, they reasoned?

The approaching apocalypse. Of course.

The troubling fish kill, coming as it did on top of reports of birds in Arkansas and Louisiana falling from the sky en masse, had some scratching their heads. And jumping to conclusions.

“Is American Wildlife Cursed?” AOL asked in a headline over a story that began, “Maybe it’s time to start storing those emergency food rations.” Conspiracy theories raged on blogs, Facebook and Twitter. People sent countless panicky tweets, including:

• “So they[‘re] blaming dead birds on loud noises and dead fish on the water being too cold…. Are we supposed to believe that?!?”

•”Between all these dead birds and fish around the USA, I think 2012 may be it after all, drink up gang.”

Some were more to the point:

•”WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE!”

Though officials in Maryland immediately explained what caused the deaths of millions of spot and croaker, people weren’t willing to buy “cold-water stress” — not with so much other environmental upheaval underway.

First, in Arkansas, 83,000 dead drum fish washed up along the Arkansas River. Then, on New Year’s Day over the small town of Beebe, about 100 miles from the dead fish, as many as 5,000 red-winged blackbirds fell to the ground, dead.

Alfred Hitchcock might have envied the austere shots of horror captured on film — all those still birds lying on highways, sidewalks and the brown grass of winter lawns. The cause of their deaths only deepened people’s unease: blunt-force trauma.

Blunt-force trauma? What?

Then, a couple of days later in Louisiana, hundreds more birds — blackbirds, starlings, brown-headed cowbirds and grackles — expired in a similarly bizarre fashion.

Theories about how that could happen, not once but twice, flew faster than feathers. Hail. Lightning. Power lines. New Year’s Eve fireworks.

George Washington University religion professor Paul Duff, who has studied the Book of Revelation and the apocalypse, didn’t seem particularly alarmed about all this when reached for comment Wednesday. In fact, he wasn’t even gathering food rations; he was catching up on work in his office.

“There has not been a generation that has not cried, ‘The end is near,’ ” he said.

Duff said the disturbing nature of the wildlife deaths, combined with the unanswered questions behind some of them, create the perfect climate for a doomsday plot.

Even if all the poor birds and rotting fish portend nothing in the end, Duff has little doubt that the apocalyptically inclined will not drop their case.

“When they expect [doomsday] to come and it doesn’t, they don’t give up that belief,” he said. “They’ll just recalculate. And push [the date] forward again.”

But I did bust out laughing at this part although I don’t know why?

People sent countless panicky tweets, including:

• “So they[‘re] blaming dead birds on loud noises and dead fish on the water being too cold…. Are we supposed to believe that?!?”

•”Between all these dead birds and fish around the USA, I think 2012 may be it after all, drink up gang.”

Some were more to the point:

•”WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE!”

Maybe I’m laughing to keep from fearing and crying?

Lord Have Mercy. Stay Tuned………………………………………

Maybe I should switch the auto play to the other video now?
